Spring Rio Grande Turkey Hunting Package

Total Fee......................$1,600.00

• 2 days of hunting/2 night stay – (2 morning and 2 evening hunts)
• All hunts are guided (one-on-one)
• Hunter can take two (2) turkeys
• Includes fishing in ranch lakes
• Includes all meals, lodging, liquor, wine, transportation to and from San Antonio International Airport, field dressing of birds and transportation of birds to local taxidermist.

Season: Set each year by Texas Parks & Wildlife Commission. Usually begins the first Saturday in April to early May.

Non-Native Animals: Most non-native trophy animals are available at this time. Please see "Non-Native Animal Hunting Prices."

Exotic Game Charges*

*These animals may be hunted at any time during the year; however, some animals are in their prime trophy condition only during the winter months.

1. *Axis Deer – there will be a surcharge of $100 per inch-or fraction thereof for all animals that measure over 30 inches.

2. *Black Buck Antelope- there will be a surcharge of $100 per inch-or fraction thereof for all animals that measure over 20 inches.

3. *Scimitar Horn Oryx- there will be a surcharge of $100 per inch-or fraction thereof for all animals that measure over 30 inches.

All hunts are guided 1x1 - Guide will make the call on price of animal before harvested by the hunter

*These Trophy fees are in addition to charges for guides, lodging, etc.

Day Hunting

In addition to all of our other hunting packages, the Diamond K Ranch offers day hunting for Diamond K Class Bucks.

Daily Guide Fee: $ 300.00 per hunter/per day

Fee includes:
• Lunch
• One-on-one guide
• Field dressing
• Transportation of your harvested animal to a processing plant within 30 miles of the ranch.

Not included:
• Hunting License
• Taxidermy Service
• Meat Processing
• Capeing

Accommodations:
Safari tents - $ 150.00 per person/per night

Boerne and Fredericksburg are quaint hill country towns nearby that would offer hotel accommodations and interesting atmosphere for an overnight stay. San Antonio is 48 miles from the ranch and about an hour drive.

Taxidermy/Meat Processing

The Diamond K Ranch will facilitate any taxidermy work and meat processing you want to contract.

Prices for all services are available at the Diamond K office at the ranch.

Sporting Clays Week-End Package Fees

The Diamond K Ranch offers you the opportunity to put your own group of four (4) couples together and enjoy a spectacular weekend of sporting clays and accommodations at our wonderful log home.

You can arrive anytime after noon on Friday; shoot Friday afternoon, all day Saturday and Sunday morning. Departure would be after lunch on Sunday.

Shooting includes sporting clays (15 stations with 37 machines), wobble trap, skeet and the amazing ZZ birds.

FEE........$ 700.00 PER PERSON (2 DAY STAY)

• Liquor, Wine
• Wildlife Tour

• If you wish professional instruction, we can provide these services to you at our cost.

Fishing Packages

Facilities:

We have six (6) lakes ranging from one (1) acre to three (3) acres which are stocked with the following:
• Black Bass
• Hybrid/Florida Bass
• Stripped Bass
• Rainbow Trout (only in October thru March)
• Catfish

There are two (2) 10' Buster boats for your convenience.

2008 Premier Bird Hunting Packages

• Additional birds available.

• Custom packages available on request.

• Continental and European Driven Pheasant Shoots available at a later date.

A 50% Non-refundable deposit is required to book all hunts

Additional Bird Hunting Information

1.Reservations are required in advance for all hunts
2. Bird Hunting Season is October through March (special year-round hunts can be arranged)
3. Prices include: Birds, guides, dogs, transportation on ranch, bird processing, open bar, meals, and lodging when overnight stay is applicable.
4. Prices do not include: Hunting licenses, ammunition (ammunition is available for purchase at our ranch store), ranch general store purchases, Premium Wine, grautuities, and taxes.
5. Complimentary Wobble trap warm-up before shoot
6. Complimentary fishing for guests staying on the ranch. Our lakes are stocked with rainbow trout, bass, hybrid bluegills, catfish, and stripers.
7. Rental guns are available for $35.00/per day, per shooter.
8.All hunts are professionally guided with expertly trained dogs.
9. Hunting licenses are required. A special banded-bird license can be purchased for $32.00 prior to arrival at the ranch (Wal-Mart, Bass Pro Shop, etc.). Texas residents will need a valid Texas bird-hunting license.
10. Orange hunting vests and caps are required on all hunts. Vests and caps are available for purchase at our ranch general store.
11. Guests arriving by air at San Antonio, Kerrville, or Fredericksburg can be provided transportation to and from the ranch. The ranch does maintain a 3,000 ft. paved runway.
12. Comfortable clothing and good boots are highly recommended.
13. Cancellation Policy: The 50% deposits are non-refundable. However, deposits can be applied to another hunt date within the same hunting season.

"Flight Flyer" Game Bird Hunts

• The Diamond K Ranch prides itself on designing the game bird hunting experience you desire.
• We offer day hunts that include lunch and a hunt either in the morning or afternoon as well as multi-day hunts which include breakfast, lodging, and incredible dinners with wonderful wines from our 4,000 bottle cellars.
• Hunting is available for Bob White Quail, Ring-neck Pheasants, Chukars, and the fast flying Hungarian and Red-legged Partridge.
• Pricing: Day hunts for quail begin at $420 per hunter (based on 4 hunters).

Additional Things You Should Know

Explanation of 2 and 3 Day Hunt Packages:
• 2-day hunts: Includes 2 night stay and two (2) morning hunts and two (2) evening hunts
• 3-day hunts: Includes 3 night stay and three (3) morning hunts and three (3) evening hunts
• Additional full day stay is $500.00 per person/per day -- always subject to availability
• Additional half day stay is $250.00 per person/per day -- always subject to availability

• Trophy fees and per day fees will be paid prior to leaving the ranch.

• You will be required to sign a release of liability on arrival at the ranch.

• Every effort will be made to retrieve wounded animals. If any blood is found, the animal is considered taken and the appropriate fee will be assessed.

• No four-wheel vehicles are allowed on the Diamond K Ranch.

• All dogs brought to the ranch must be placed in Diamond K Ranch Kennels (you need to bring your pet's favorite food). All dogs must have proof of all current shots, specifically DHP-P, Rabies, and Bordetella.

Gratuities
• Gratuities for the Diamond K Ranch personnel are not included in any of the fees. Gratuities are not required, but are appreciated. If you would like to give someone a gratuity, you may do so with any employee of the ranch. Management will distribute these gratuities to the appropriate personnel.

2008 License Fees

Non-resident Spring Turkey: $120 - available after Feb. 1
Valid to hunt turkey only during the open spring turkey season. Holders of this license are exempt from the Turkey Stamp Endorsement requirements. (Unlawful to possess both this license and a valid Non-Resident General Hunting License.)

Non-Resident 5-Day Special Hunting: $45
Legal for any period of 5 consecutive days (valid hunting dates will be printed on the license when issued). Valid to hunt: Exotic animals, all legal game birds (except turkeys), all non-game animals, squirrel and javelina (not valid for other game animals or alligators).

Non-resident Banded Bird Hunting: $32
Valid only to hunt banded game birds on private bird hunting areas.
