At the Diamond K Ranch you will find a population of over 1,000 Whitetail Deer, 1,500 Axis Deer, and over 500 non-native animals, including Blackbuck, Gemsbok, Scimitar-horn Oryx, Addax and Springbok Antelope, Armenian Red Sheep, Greater Kudu and Auodad Sheep.
Additional species from around the world, like Fallow, Pere David and Rocky Mountain Elk, also make their home on the Diamond K Ranch. In spite of this impressive collection of game, we offer a limited number of hunts per year, and those hunters that reserve them quickly discover another reason why a hunt on the Diamond K Ranch is so special.
This is an environment that ensures a rewarding hunt, with more than 45 deer in the Texas Big Game Awards. All hunts are professionally guided with individual guides for each hunter, and are conducted in the highest and most ethical manner. All our hunts are fair chase and comply with all Texas Parks and Wildlife regulations and guidelines. Non-native hunting is conducted year-round, although some animals are only at their best during the winter months. White-tail Deer season is generally the first Saturday in October through the last Saturday in January.
